Mental Health During the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • The United States is currently undergoing a mental health crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on many people's mental health.

  • The KFF Health Tracking Poll reports, nearly 47% of Americans suffer mental health issues.

  • Many people have suffered increased levels of stress, fear, depression, anger, anxiety, and substance usage.​

Our LGBT community suffers from mental illnesses at a higher rate than the general population.

According to SAMHSA, approximately 4.5 % of the US population identifies as LGBT in 2021, with 39% reporting mental issues.


To ensure the safety of our staff and clients, we take careful precautions to safeguard.

Clients will wear masks as they enter and navigate the building.


Clients will social distance 6 feet apart.

Our rooms will be cleaned and sanitized after each use.


Clients will complete a self-health risk assessment about the basic COVID-19 symptoms.

We provide a variety of services, including in-home and community-based support.

Our services are currently limited. Working with public schools, hospitals, mental health facilities, and community centers on a case-by-case basis.

There are selections for dance, art, and recreational music.

At this time, remote classes are only available for dance classes.
